The Orientation Year (Zoekjaar) is a one-year residence permit for graduates who have completed a bachelor's or master's degree at a Dutch university, or for graduates from top-200 universities worldwide. During this year you can seek employment, start a business, or work freely without employer sponsorship. If you find a qualifying job, you can transition to the Highly Skilled Migrant visa. Family members may not be included during the orientation year.
