Residence permit self-employed person Checklist
Netherlands
Self-employed residence has distinct general economic-interest, artist cultural-interest and US/Japanese treaty branches. General RVO assessment considers experience, business plan and Dutch added value. Points do not apply to Turkish nationals, long-term EU residents from another EU state or independent professions; essential-interest assessment still applies. Registration, permits and income depend on the actual branch; treaty capital/timing rules are separate.
